A Common Myth   " Motorways are the Most Dangerous Roads "

Wrong!  Motorways are the safest roads.  Six out of every nine people killed on UK roads each and every day,  die on A,  B or unclassified roads.

Two thirds of these crashes occur during daylight hours on dry roads with favourable weather conditions.  Roadside features such as trees and ditches are significant factors in the death and serious injury of car occupants.

Improving Driver awareness to approaching hazards either moving ie. other road users or fixed ie. junctions, bends, hills, significantly reduces the chance of a collision.
