Do you want to tow a horsebox, Caravan, Boat or other large trailer?  If you passed your driving test after 1997, you can only tow a small trailer (750kg) unless you have passed an additional B+E driving test.  If you do not have BE on the back of your licence,  you are not legally entitled to tow a large trailer.  Your car insurance may also be invalid when towing the trailer.

We use a modern air-conditioned manual JEEP and twin axle 2.5 tonne Ifor Williams trailer for your training & DSA Test.

The Training course is usually 5 to 6 hours, practicing the Roadcraft and Special manoeuvres.  The Test session is
3 hours including the pretest warm-up, DSA Test and return to base.   The waiting time for a  DSA trailer test at Beverley LGV Centre is usually within a week or so.   We can take tests at other LGV Centres subject to arrangement.

Included in the Training sessions are Pace Notes and Reminders to keep you safe.
